From the Superintendent

On behalf of the Board of Education, the administration, the staff and the students of the Pomfret Community School I welcome you to our new district website. The primary purpose of this site is to provide access to timely and meaningful information related to personnel, programs, services and activities at the Pomfret Community School.

High School Options Committee Presentation
The BOE’s Designated HS Options Committee has been investigating the possibility of adding an additional designated HS for Pomfret students. As part of this process, we invite you to an evening of presentations by Killingly HS and Putnam HS. PCS cafeteria 10/30/18 6:00 PM

Grade 5 & 6 Students Changing Their Part of the World
October 8, 2018
With the help of a grant and Jean Pillo from the Eastern Connecticut Conservation District, Mr. Hotchkiss and his 5th and 6th grade students installed a bowl-shaped rain garden at Pomfret Community School. It is designed to absorb pollutants in water from the parking lot and roof near the plants.
2nd Annual High School Fair
September 20, 2018
The eight area high schools that traditionally draw students from Pomfret visited PCS the evening of the grades 7 & 8 Open House.
